Construction site cameras
For what purpose is your personal data processed?
CA Immo Group stores and processes video material generated from the operation of cameras on CA Immo construction sites, on the one hand to inform the interested public, in particular tenants/ prospective tenants, about the progress of construction work and, on the other hand, to be able to produce individual images after completion of construction for creating a time lapse film until the end of the project (e.g. for marketing purposes). The pictures of the construction site cameras are taken in coarse granularity/resolution and from a large distance, so that neither people nor vehicles are zoomed in and could be identified easily.
What is the legal basis on which your personal data is processed?
Processing is carried out due to the legitimate interest of CA Immo in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest of CA Immo lies in informing the interested public and producing a time-lapse film for purposes such as marketing.
Who does CA Immo pass your personal data on to?
The data is exchanged within the Group only to such extent that management companies are enabled to conduct business operations, as well as due to the centralised IT and in the course of an audit. The data is forwarded to external IT service providers (operators of the construction site cameras) and, where required, to authorities, legal representatives & notaries and courts. Visitors of the respective construction site website only get to see hourly still images and/or a time-lapse film made from that material.
How long will CA Immo keep your personal data?
CA Immo Group will retain the video material from the construction site cameras for up to 12 months following completion of the construction work.
